Just listened to the John Whaite interview. Loved to hear about his life. Great Podcast
Each episode is just such a pleasure. Listening to various people from diverse backgrounds happily chatting through food memories. Fabulous hosts and a lovely way to spend an hour
This is great to see. I know this host from her cooking books, I have the one on Iranian food. She writes really well in that book and I liked hearing her voice for real, it’s just like her book coming to life. I didn’t know she was such a good interviewer. Great podcast.
I really enjoyed the first episode of this new series and am looking forward to hearing the rest. The new host Yasmin Khan brings a real energy to the conversation. It was fascinating to go deeper into some of the issues around food with Yotam Ottolenghi such as navigating cultural appropriation and the situation in the occupied Palestinian Territories.
I love this podcast. It’s so lovely…wonderful guests with great stories and Alison and Jimmy are so informed and genuinely interested in thier guests. Could listen to Jimmy’s voice all day! Just listened to John Whaite…such a great interview. Look forward to more 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is a wonderful podcast, it really embraces the great aspects of food, culture, and life, it is a great podcast and I really recommend it!
Great podcast
Really enjoying these podcasts.
So want to like this - a great idea. However there are many, better podcasts out there with a similar theme but executed with far more brio.
Anyone who's touting their stuff on this podcast will always end up on another, where they will be made to sing for their supper in a far more interesting way.
This is flat, sycphantic without charm, and oozes a sort of smug, middle class, vague disinterestedness that has come to personify Johm Lewis.
I have found myself enjoying more and more podcasts the last year, this new podcast is really enjoyable! I think it may become a weekly ritual of sitting down and listening accompanied with a glass of wine. A promising beginning to what I hope to be a new found favourite.
Such a friendly peep into the wider world of food. No airs, no graces, very real, normal people and highly relatable.
Talking about food can really take you back. Great start to a promising podcast series.
A fascinating listen, from an unexpected angle. Like desert island discs for foodies!
