Please. It’s hard to listen with all of the “likes.” Edit the word like in your hosts dialogue. It’s overused and detracts from the content.
So they did an episode where they address fear of dental work (among other dental topics) and they played a dental drill noise at the beginning just to make a twee introductory remark. It's like the same kind of rude carelessness as if someone did an episode on apiphobia and played bee noises in the listener's headphones. The rest of the episode wasn't bad, aside from being a bit condescending.
This podcast hits all the key points to get help for your mental help one way or another. They go into depth on how to start the “uncomfortable” conversations with your family about not only your mental health but theirs as well. I believe this episode hits so close to home and needs to be heard by every latinx in my community because we all don’t realize we need to take care eachother not just physically but mentally in order to break the cycle of sweeping it under the rug. I really enjoy listening to this podcast because the information provided is always helpful. The “Need to make a change in your life” episode was really helpful for me because I have been trying to be more consistent in my fitness journey.
Considering how short each episode is, I like how they cram so much important info in that short amount of time. We can’t expect them to answer everything but it’s helped my life a lot!
