Ever since the two idiotic babble-makers cane back on the scene this show sux! Literally, WTF!?
I started listening around 2014 and have been addicted ever since. I miss John McWhorter. He is absolutely brilliant.
I originally came for John. But the “new” hosts are quite enjoyable. Very different presentation, but it’s still a podcast for those in love with language and I found I liked the post-John show plenty. Give it a shot!
A very informative experience.
Johns departure removed all the soul of the podcast. He delved deep and connected the lessons across multiple languages and gave real examples of the usage of the phrases in a musical format. It’s a waste of time otherwise to listen to two people try to be clever to mask their incompetence
