  • Watch out one of the reviews is anti-Palestinian

The stupid guy with the Israeli flag who’s talking about all the terrorist groups and stuff. He’s probably from Israel or a spy or something and he’s being mean killing people in a music festival like God dammit like Hamas is a resistance group. They may use terror, but it works and that’s all that matters as long as less people die in Palestine, preferably zero that’s all that matters who cares if Israel dies

  • How is anyone this stupid?

Okay listened a bit and read through the episodes. Look at the one after October 7. It starts talking about the “liberation” of Palestine. Because liberation is totally breaking into a music festival and killing a bunch of innocent people. They have episodes about Hamas and Hezbollah. Not once do they mention that they are terrorist groups. Instead “resistance groups”. Overall it’s just a podcast run by people who don’t know anything and support genocidal terrorist groups. Because yes Hamas is t... more

  • Start with the 100 year history of Palestine and you need never say it’s complicated again

Ignore all the negative reviews from brainwashed bigots playing the tired anti semitism /they’re all terrorists card. This podcast is a brilliant accurate eye opening education and needs to be taught in all UK schools.

  • One-sided

I found this really one sided. I enjoyed hearing the Palestinian side on the Coleman Hughes episode with a Palestinian professor.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#22 - Will Gaza be Ethnically Cleansed? ft. Rami Khouri
Q: Considering this political transformation as well as occurring without Hezbollah, what does Israel's actions refusing to completely cross the border back into Israel indicate about their colonial imperialist aims?
This reflects how colonialism works today: imposing will through military and economic force, using local governments to enforce compliance, and ultimately regarding indigenous people as expendable.
#22 - Will Gaza be Ethnically Cleansed? ft. Rami Khouri
Q: If Israel were to want to return to fighting, does that actually help them achieve their aims?
Returning to fighting doesn't help achieve their aims; it complicates negotiations and increases resistance. The population doesn't want to suffer and understands that compromise leads to worse conditions.
#22 - Will Gaza be Ethnically Cleansed? ft. Rami Khouri
Q: How strong is the current ceasefire in Gaza? Do you believe there is political will on either side to make it hold?
The situation is erratic, with both sides wanting to see the continuation of hostages returning and the ceasefire negotiations. However, Benjamin Netanyahu may not truly want the process to succeed as he needs ongoing tension to maintain his government.
#7 - The Early Colonization of Palestine ft. Dr Ilan Pappé
Q: How did Palestinians resist Zionism then in that case, as it was slowly building up over the time period?
Resistance started around 1918 with political parties and movements calling for an Arab-Palestinian state, which later included armed struggle as the Zionist project became more violent.
#7 - The Early Colonization of Palestine ft. Dr Ilan Pappé
Q: How would you say that the entire movement was received at the time, sort of at the end of the 19th century?
Zionism was initially a minority opinion among Jews, with many believing that the solution to antisemitism lay in creating a more democratic or socialist society.
