Solid show, like Tyson’s level headed takes and passion

Jetscentral on the other hand gives the MOST lukewarm takes humanly possible. Terrified of being bold or offending anyone.

“McDonald has a floor of 9 sacks, could see him being as high as 11 or 12” WOW SHOCKING

Listen for Tyson, deal with Jetscentrals stock/generic answers on every.single.topic.

  • Great show!

Great podcast and I like the fact they calibrate with other Jets podcasters. The people that give this podcast a bad review are a punch of p**sy’s that don’t know football and aren’t real Jet fans.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Discussing the State of the Jets with Matt O'Leary
Q: Do you think Geno Smith can be the bridge quarterback and how does that affect the roster build?
Geno is viewed as an upgrade who can stretch the field and keep defenses honest, but the team needs a reliable supporting cast and depth behind him to avoid a 'gap year' situation, with a multi-year plan ahead.
Discussing the State of the Jets with Matt O'Leary
Q: What are your thoughts on the new coaching staff compared to last year?
The staff appears to be a cautious upgrade with Frank Reich at offensive helm and Wink Martindale on defense, which could unlock better play-calling and scheme fit, provided the players respond and the offense can be more consistent.
Reviewing the Jets best draft options with analyst Dom C
Q: What would Dom Muji's dream first four picks look like for the Jets?
He envisions taking Cornell Tate at two, Theanimen at 16, and solidifying the edge and linebacker positions at 33 and 44, respectively, while prioritizing a balanced mix of playmaking and foundational pieces.
Episode #118 Previewing draft options with JetsCentral
Q: Would you trade back from 16 to accumulate more picks or stay aggressive for a top playmaker?
The consensus leans toward a blend: stay within striking distance of the top five, but be open to trading back if it yields significant extra picks and still secures a player with elite upside at a critical position.
Episode #118 Previewing draft options with JetsCentral
Q: Who is your top target at 16 if Reese goes at 2?
The hosts discuss a few options across position and value, emphasizing the need to balance BPA with need, considering top receivers like Sadiq or a corner like McCoy, while acknowledging that a trade-back could also yield value and still land a premier playmaker by 33 or 44.
