I was diagnosed with a brain tumour around 25years ago it’s on my brain stem so they won’t touch it just monitor it. Has not grown so fingers crossed it stays that way. 2 year scans now
Having recently gone through a craniotomy and having a head full of tumours (NF2) I appreciated the craniotomy episode. I would have appreciated it more if a more negative or realistic experience was given as well. I know I’m not alone in some of the things I went through. I would have liked to her more of this to know I’m not alone. It’s a life changing experience.
I have only recently been diagnosed with two (different) brain tumours. When you have a diagnosis you start looking for information, support and reassurance, so hearing from others who are going through the same process as you is so helpful. This podcast puts those with tumours at the heart of each podcast.
Highly recommended and thanks to the team behind this. Stu
Fantastic to see this is being led by those personally affected - thank you for sharing your vulnerability with us and raising much needed awareness for this horrendous disease. Look forward to the next one.
Thank you to the hosts for being so open, looking forward to future episodes
