My man, “my deck assumes competence” makes it sound like you can’t play anyone you’re not prepared for. Anyone with something unexpected and they’re “incompetent”? Bro. Get over yourself.
I appreciate anyone willing to put themselves out there and make content for a game. I’ve tried to enjoy the podcast but has become increasingly negative and just not fun to listen to. Having or expressing some thoughtful negative critiques is fine but those have increased substantially recently as well as many silly critiques such as game animations speed. Don’t appreciate how DBN comes across as seemingly all knowing and so prideful and rigid in his outlook and opinions.
This a podcast that if you play LoR, is a must listen. The content covers all aspects of LoR while providing a unique perspective to what is going on in the game. The closing segment also reminds listeners that this is a game & life encompasses so much more. Thanks to The Lift & Dead Broke Nerd for providing great content on a great game.
When I started playing LoR, Legends Cast became my number one source of commentary on the game. I look forward to a new episode every week. I really appreciate Mark aka The Lift and DeadBrokeNerd and what they bring to the show. The closing thoughts from Mark are always inspirational and something you don’t get in other podcasts. DBN’s analysis on the cards is always interesting to listen to and often make me think in different ways. Way to go guys!
I found this podcast while looking for Runeterra content and i'm so glad that I did, the hosts are both unplifting and entertaining and they have built a community that is genuinly encouraging and supportive. Highly recommend.
