I listen to a lot of film pods and for any lefty out there (or film lover), this is the podcast for you. Just saw they added some new hosts from the Andor series and look forward to see where it goes from here. Great stuff
Giving the show five stars because I enjoy it, but I implore the people on this podcast to do two minutes of research before recording. Every episode contains questions that are easily searchable. That said, I still love it.
Interesting discussions, cool people
This great podcast features host Evan and guests discussing a film in the context of its political environment at the time and how that might translate to the contemporary. Often unknown backstory of how and why the film might have been created is revealed as well as direct or indirect influence of or reaction to government institutions is provided.
I love love love this podcast. Evan is so chill and insightful and he brings in great guests. Picks a nice blend of movies too and doesn’t speak over the audience
