So funny and love looking at old Neighbours with our modern lens. Hosts are excellent.
I came back to Neighbours in the pandemic and was quickly hooked and in love with how inclusive it had become. I was so gutted when it was was cancelled that I decide do try a vintage-years rewatch and this podcast has been the perfect companion. more
I love this podcast. We watch vintage Neighbours from the start with Sarah and Rachael - and they tell it like it is. The good, bad, sad, funny, and downright ridiculous. What has aged well, and what hasn’t. The social attitudes of the 80’s that may, or may not be acceptable today. It’s all up for discussion. We all love the show, and it’s interesting and fun to watch through 21st century eyes. Love the Facebook group that goes along with it, where the girls interact with the listeners’ views. K... more
This podcast is the perfect companion for a Neighbours re-watch. Whilst Neighbours has been off the air, I decided to start watching from the beginning again, but listening to Leaving Erinsborough makes the experience so much more fun. I always look forward to hearing Sarah and Rachel dissect the episodes I’ve seen and discovering what they’ve found to pull apart. I love the fact they don’t take themselves or the show too seriously. It’s a compelling listen.
If you’re a Neighbours fan, especially of the early years episodes, you are going to love Leaving Erinsborough. Lots of laughs and nostalgia as Sara and Rachel rewatch and discuss Neighbours from the start. Thanks for an awesome podcast!
