  • Great show but must fix audio

Hey guys, love the show but the audio makes it frustrating to listen too. Voices in the podcast seem very low and distant. For example, I went back to listen to Shane from Blackland and his audio is okay but it’s very hard to hear the hosts then when a commercial breaks it’s blasting loud. Don’t think it’s my vehicle since other shows and channels are okay. Thanks.

  • A must listen for any traditional wet shaver

I’ve been listening to Lather Talk for a couple of years now and love how John and Gerrard interview their guests. You gain a great insight, whether that’s from an artisan or hardware manufacturer. Their passion is really palpable in every episode they record. 5/5 podcast. Highly recommend.

  • Essential listening for the hobbiest

Whether you're new to the hobby or a grizzled veteran this show is a must listen. They do a great job of keeping you up to date on the latest with anything having to do with traditional shaving.

  • Not just another wet shaving podcast

Great content and interviews. Most of the guests have been interviewed other places but I’ve enjoyed all of the guests here the most. The hosts are more like regular guys and I get more information on new products here and on their Discord server than anywhere else. So much of wet shaving is subjective and I think they do a great job of not slanting their conversation towards only things that they personally want or like. Keep up the great work!

  • Great wet shaving interviews

The other wet shaving podcasts I’ve listened to have usually just been one guy talking. This one is great because they talk to many artisans and content makers. Two qualms though: The audio is not good. They would really benefit from investing in some halfway decent microphones and a little bit of time on the production side. Also, the two hosts tend to use the phrase “and stuff like that...” ALL the time. Once you notice it, you can’t stop being annoyed by it.
