  • Review and a question

Hey boys, love the pod and my week is not complete without listening to you guys. I would like to hear your opinion on something, I went to a concert over the weekend of a very independent singer songwriter and on his merch table was small potted plants he had grown himself from their own garden! First thing I thought when I saw that was what would Matt think of this merch table item.

And please can we get Major Pod in the UK.

  • Great podcast

Not a figure guy but I love the podcast. Just some friends nerding out about wrestling. I used to have so many hasbro and jacks figures growing up. Still have a few and an ultimate warrior suitcase they all live in. But this is weekly listening for me. I popped for Hawkins at Chicago takeover in the tapings and was a broski. Will always be a fan. @duckshirt on Twitter/IG. Big fan of the show and honestly am probably about to get back into buying f’n toys now smh

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

WELCOME TO DUDLEYVILLE! LIVE
Q: Can you describe the significance of the 3D finish and how it evolved from a double-team move to a signature finisher?
The 3D evolved from early experimentation with a diamond cutter-like concept, refined through many practice sessions; it became our defining tag-team finisher because of the timing, cooperation, and the dangerous but iconic execution.
Edge Heads Q&A - FROM THE VAULT!
Q: Was there any backlash from the locker room for the Edge Heads push?
There was some behind-the-scenes chatter, but not openly directed at them; many veterans were wary of the push, but the Edge Heads were seen as a fresh, entertaining act that could fill TV time. Over time, as they demonstrated value, the group secured their spot.
Edge Heads Q&A - FROM THE VAULT!
Q: Adam McCann asks about interactions with Vince McMahon and whether Edge Heads got any direct acknowledgement from him.
Vince reviewed pitches and gave guidance on believability and distinctness of names; there was a push to avoid a redundant “brother” dynamic and to create individual edges within the Edge Heads concept. The overall takeaway was that good ideas, even if risky, could be recognized and rewarded by leadership when they resonated.
Edge Heads Q&A - FROM THE VAULT!
Q: What was it like working with Edge and the management during the Edge Heads run?
Edge served as a real mentor in practice and in ring work; Vince McMahon and Johnny Ace played pivotal roles in naming and positioning, sometimes pushing for quick decisions that could change a career overnight. The crew balanced awe with nerves, especially during live, high-stakes moments.
Edge Heads Q&A - FROM THE VAULT!
Q: How did you start being an Edge Head, and what was the scene around that start?
The idea grew from a fan-level affinity with Edge and a desire to stand out; after being in OVW and developmental, they pitched the concept, got blocked briefly, then pushed forward with Edge's blessing and a plan to mimic Edge's look and mannerisms. It culminated in a staged promo and run-in that caught attention and earned a real shot.
