A podcast is never late, nor is it early, it arrives precisely when it means to. A new podcast for an old game: Lord of the Rings The Card Game (LCG). A lighthearted yet informative exploration of the game we adore. Featuring discussion on cards & quests, our various adventures in and out of Middle-earth, as well as offering advice for new players and veterans alike.

John and Em are very fun to listen to and provide a great insight into this game from a newcomer’s perspective. They also cover many commonly misunderstood rules. I adore their ability to interpret the thematic designs of the cards, proving that this game is more than just a deckbuilding puzzle to solve provided you slow down and use a bit of imagination.
I’m just getting back into the LOTR LCG and found this podcast, which has been a great companion to my forays into soloing these quests. It’s been a fantastic resource and I sincerely hope they continue producing episodes.
I’ve got to episode 13 so I’m writing a review. I started playing LOTR LCG in 2022 when the revised core came out. It’s been fantastic to listen and learn as Jon and Em have taken me through each of the cards and the quests so far. The show really makes me think about he cards and how I can best use them. Keep the episodes coming both!!
Being late to the game, (even later than Late to the Cards!) this is such a helpful podcast. The information is great, you are super entertaining, and I hope you keep going! I really appreciate your desire to share what you know with the community, thanks! more
Even friends of mine who don’t play the game have a good time dropping in for a bit. I eagerly look forward to each episode with these two fantastic gentlemen :]
