Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 95: Cozy Goo Gone
Q: Where do you pull inspiration from when working on Rangers and its terrain sets?
Inspiration comes from a mix of personal experience (camping, mountains, nature), memories of playing other games, and deliberate design exploration. We do top-down theme first, then bottom-up mechanics to ensure ideas are connected, and we push to find a balance that makes the new content feel both fresh and true to the core game.
Episode 93: We Know, Steve
Q: I remember hearing or reading somewhere that the story of the valley was going to be a limited arc of three sets. Is this true?
No, the arc is still the same. We still have plans for two more campaign expansions.
Episode 93: We Know, Steve
Q: Do you have vertical card dividers available?
No, we are not planning to make vertical dividers, but future boxes might accommodate vertical storage.
Episode 85: Oh Raspberries!
Q: Are there any details about the world beyond North America you feel up to sharing?
Canada is in North America. Sea levels are imagined to be higher, but we haven't canonized that map at all.
Episode 84: Legacy of the Ancestors Soundtrack (ft. Tom Figgins)
Q: If you could describe what your inspiration was for the composition, how would you do so?
I wanted to explore themes of potential and adventure, creating a sound world that resonates with players' feelings of discovery and connection in the game.
