  • More Like Gang Up on Ladies

I’m embarrassed that I’ve listened to this podcast for so long. The final straw is how comfortable they are maligning a victim of sexual harassment-on the same episode Becca goes on a rant about how hard it is to be a woman in the workplace. If they are so easily influenced by a coordinated bot smear campaign designed to punish a woman who stood up to a creep in the workplace, then they lack the media literacy to offer valid commentary. I’m out.

Thank you so much for sharing this journey of yours! I have four beautiful daughters, one through adoption, but surrogacy has not been part of my story so I really didn’t have any thought or opinion on it, but I loved this episode so much and love the times I can have emotion and thought over something I will probably never carry! So, thank you for sharing and I too cannot wait for you to meet your baby girl!

  • Keltie needs to chill

Listener since the Fempire days and I love the pod and usually can deal with how intense Keltie is. She is constantly talking over Jac and Becca which could be fine is she was saying something other than “like” or “and so…” it sounds like she wants to talk for the sake of hearing her own voice and it has ramped up as of late. Love the pod generally, but this is making it harder to stay tuned in.

Our Surrogacy Story: The High-Stakes Babysitter & “The Dad”
Q: So first of all, a personal question, how did you realize you wanted to be a surrogate and when?
It wasn't a single moment; it grew from ongoing exposure to egg donation and seeing a friend go through surrogacy, which made the possibility feel real and achievable.
LG Quickie: Everything You Thought You Knew About Your Cycle Is Wrong!
Q: First of all, can you describe in feralness the four phases of the menstrual cycle?
The four phases are the menstrual phase with low hormones and shedding of the lining, the follicular phase where follicles grow and estrogen rises, ovulation when the egg is released and the window for fertilization is short, and the luteal phase where progesterone dominates and the body prepares for potential pregnancy; if pregnancy doesn't occur, hormone levels drop and the cycle restarts with a period.
