I’ve listened to several podcasts from this journalists and unfortunately I always find them kind of hard to follow. I’m not sure what it is, if it’s the editing or all the asides that end up derailing the flow (“now if that seems hard to follow, it’s not just you!” Or “I know that seems boring, but hold on a minute!”), but I always find myself kind of confused by who everyone is and what’s happening in a way I never do with other podcasts. I nearly gave up after the undercover recordings of the host trying to find information on "the villain" by just walking into establishments of an immigrant community she has no connection to and asking "DO YOU KNOW THIS GUY!?"
