In each episode, Patrick Hamilton and Gena Radcliffe unpack all the gory details of horror cinema's least discussed topic: the characters. From Friday the 13th to the Evil Dead franchise and beyond, our mission is to detail each hack, slash, and decapitation in the hopes that a victim's untimely end is just the beginning of the jokes we can make about them.

  • Such an amazing show

I find myself nodding in agreement with the hosts throughout each episode. I appreciate their fan-oriented approach where they find ways to have a good time and laugh at the ridiculousness that sometimes makes it into movies while also just celebrating and enjoying horror films.

  • A very special podcast

Every so often I look for a new movie related podcast. I keep not subscribing to them because I compare them to kill by kill, and they just don’t stack up.

  • So glad I found this!

Ran into these folks in a Threads discussion about Skinamarink and had to hear their thoughts. This feels like hanging out with two old friends - smart and thoughtful and funny and good-spirited even when being critical. Thats a fast follow for me

Silent Rage (w/ Galen Howard)

You can find me most actively, I'd say, on the instant gram, Galen Howard, all one word.
The Dead Zone (w/ Matthew Jackson)
Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of the adaptation of The Dead Zone?
The center of the story has to be Johnny Smith's journey, despite the book's sprawling nature.
The Dead Zone (w/ Matthew Jackson)

I definitely read it first.
Interview With the Vampire (w/ Gregory Lay)

Gregory recalls watching Interview With The Vampire in 1994 at the age of 14, describing it as an epic experience that he had anticipated leading up to its release.
Terror In The Aisles (w/ Kevin Maher)
Q: Would this exist today or would there be some kind of spoiler?
No, this would not work today because people are so anti-spoiler that you couldn't show key scenes.
