先日、以前ご紹介したジョン（#23）が無断でモヨを留守にするという騒動が起こりました。姿を消していた数日、彼は「家族に会いたい」という理由で学校にもいかず、スラム街で生活を送っていたとのこと。路上生活からモヨでの暮らしに変わり、仕事に就く道が用意されていても、それを選ばずにスラムに戻ってしまうケニアの人々の考え方や価値観について深く考えさせられます。
