I absolutely love listening to Kate & Kathleen. The dynamic between them, how they bat ideas off one another makes for such easy & educational listening. It’s like listening to two friends, who are also great horsewomen, discuss horses, obstacles & how they are tackling them. Great podcast for anyone who is involved in horses. Keep going ladies as I tune into every single episode, & thank you for sharing your knowledge 🧡
Love listening to these two. They come from very different backgrounds yet have similar principles when it comes to horses (and I suspect life too).
They seem to touch on things that are relevant to me and/or my horses, so I always find my self learning. It feels like we are in the room with them, learning alongside, so very inclusive.
When I first discovered the podcast I found myself listening to the entire library. My only request….. is more please.
Kate and Kathleen have a great rapport and a similar approach, despite their different backgrounds (one on a cattle farm in Georgia USA, one with a small herd on Dartmoor UK).

Learning that being ‘brave’ may not be in your ... more

Two experienced horsewomen explore horsemanship, biomechanics, and horse welfare through thoughtful, friendly conversations. Episodes blend personal journeys with practical, horse-centered teaching ideas, comparing traditions from French classical riding to modern clinics and rider development. They emphasize reading a horse's emotional and physical state, safety, long-term biomechanics, and ethical decisions in training. A notable strength is their open dialogue across backgrounds, plus occasional guests, which tends to attract listeners who value humane, evidence-informed approaches to horses and learning.
What stands out: a consistently humane, curiosity-driven approach that couples deep knowledge with approachable storytelling, making ... more
