我從來沒有問過我母親「這是你想要的人生嗎? 如果有再一次的機會，你會想要活出什麼樣的人生?」
同樣是50歲，我過著與母親當年完全不一樣的生活，而我最初的起點就是——我不想過她那樣的生活。
經過這麼多年，我辦到了，我現在過著一個自己想要的生活，而且過得很滿足。
我常想，以後肯定會有越來越多的女人跟我一樣，結婚沒有孩子，或者沒結婚也沒有孩子，如果他們問我「真的可以活出想要的人生嗎?」
我會非常大聲地告訴她們，可以的，絕對可以。
