I gave up after a few episodes especially Fauves. Please learn to pronounce Derain. And the constant repetition of “extraordinary, wonderful, it blew their minds, etc etc was too irritating to continue with. Sure, there’s a lot of chat, but to my mind there’s very little content.
Jo's enthusiasm for art history is palpable, and she has a great mission to make art history accessible to all. She approaches the subject with an open mind and speaks in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
I appreciate her efforts to combat the snobbery often associated with art, encouraging everyone to appreciate and explore art in their own way. I highly recommend her podcast to anyone looking to learn more about art history.
Someone else in a review mentioned the conversational style and I agree. I find these very interesting and straightforward. Really good

I’d really recommend this for anyone who is missing trips to museums and galleries and wants to learn more about a range of art and it’s role in history.
I don’t normally leave reviews but after listening to just two episodes, I thought that it was definitely worth my time.
I’ve only had a fleeting interest in art history, but this podcast is brilliantly insightful and thought provoking.
