Excellent journalism that really digs into the issue of an averted school shooting, gun violence and the line between personal liberty and collective security. Episode 4, about the Reupublican governor who changed his opinion on gun laws, and then is branded a “traitor,” is illuminating and worth listening to on its own.
Just marathoned this yesterday.
Handled a very delicate and nuanced situation quite well. They asked tough questions and, from my perspective, gave listeners tremendous insight into the story of Vermont's recent grappling with the potential of violence with firearms.
Hope more local stations play around with these kind of miniseries. I don't live in Vermont but I found it very applicable to a larger audience.
