  • Helpful insight and motivating

This podcast provides exceptional insight into the start up jewellery world. Interviews and tips from community members provided valuable insight into their own journey in start up handmade jewellery.

Robyn has a calming and positive outlook and also gives insight into her own journey.

I’ve listened to many of these episodes though the years and taken notes that I refer to with my own start up. Highly recommended!

Came here for Katie Hunts episode and stayed for more! Love the flip flop between longer guest episodes and quick momentum Mondays! I’m not in the jewelry industry myself, but I have so many community members in that space and I’m always looking for resources to recommend them! And Robyn has such great energy and diverse experience to share!!

  • Informative and inspiring

I listen to this podcast because my niece y.farmani was on it. It was very inspiring. She asks the right question she listen and she responds with care. Her sense of building a community around many designers passion and couching them to build a successful business around their passion is admirable. She deserves 10 stars.

  • Never too experienced to learn

I love Robyn so much. I’ve been a jewelry business owner for over 20 years as an independent jewelry artist. Although I no longer care about scaling my business or hitting six figures, I can say that Robyn has advice for all models of business. One of the biggest blessings for me has been her encouragement to get in front of the camera and start my own podcast. I stepped out of my comfort zone and fears to achieve a new level of personal success.

262 | Is It Too Late to Start a Jewelry Business? with Julie Sloan
Q: What does a day in your life look like?
Julie describes a season-dependent day focused on chapter orders, coordinating a team, and preparing shipments for events, with a balance of hands-on jewelry making and business operations; she emphasizes the ongoing, multi-tasking rhythm of a growing brand.
260 | Turning Grief Into Meaning: How Mayniac Metals Built a Powerful Memorial Jewelry Brand
Q: Could you introduce yourself and share a little about how you got to where you are today?
Aaron explains he launched Mayniac Metals after a friend invited him to make a ring, which sparked a passion for metalsmithing. He gradually built the business around memorial jewelry, driven by personal motivation to help people cope with loss and celebrate loved ones. The niche evolved as more clients requested similar pieces, reinforced by his desire to maintain hands-on fabrication and provide a trusted, intimate experience.
261 | The Retail Psychology Every Jewelry Business Owner Needs to Know with Bob Phibbs
Q: What is the core framework or rule you teach to move a shopper from looking to buying in the first 30 seconds?
Start with a warm, brief greeting and then shift focus to building curiosity and comfort; avoid selling upfront and instead engage with questions, showcase what's new, and create a sense of wonder that invites the customer to try and feel the piece on themselves.
261 | The Retail Psychology Every Jewelry Business Owner Needs to Know with Bob Phibbs
Q: What is the biggest opportunity that small jewelry businesses are missing when it comes to creating real customer connection?
Owners often underestimate the impact of respect and presence; treating every walk-in as a unique, valued interaction and avoiding a default 'they should buy' mentality dramatically improves conversion and loyalty.
258 | The Invisible Block Keeping Your Jewelry Business Stuck (Fix This Now) with Dr Noah St. John
Q: Can you share a tangible example of how your approach has helped someone in a similar business to grow?
A client who invested 100K in one-on-one coaching ended up creating 1.8 million in 10 months by removing head trash, implementing the framework, and aligning actions with deeper goals, not just chasing money. They gained time, freedom, and revenue growth.
