Two Moore fans will little appreciation for Connery or Flemming or anyone trying to be authentic to the books. Seem to go out of their way to find guests who dislike the classic films. Can you just do a Goldfinger episode with competent cohosts please? The best Bond film with by far the best Bond, and you have yet to do it any justice.
Last year I embarked on watching all of the Bond films for the first time in order and this show was my companion throughout. It was great to hear the Matts’ authentic responses to the movies - the moments they loved, the issues therein, and the humor throughout. I imagine it’s difficult to find a balance between evenhanded criticism and uncynical fandom, but the lads strike that balance expertly. I hope for more new episodes as the franchise enters its next chapter.
Great and Entertaining podcast about everyone’s favourite secret agent. Lots to laugh about and a ton of info on everything Bond. Wonderful guests, funny tales and two really funny hosts. As the Amazon Bond quest begins, looking forward to see what transpires with Amazon Bond.
First time caller love the show … second rewatch of Dial of Destiny after listening to your show . Matt Mira’s jaded , churlish , pedantic view of the film helped me enjoy it more. - cheers
I love the show. Been listening since 2014. So glad the old episodes are back up. It would be awesome if there was a way to change the releases back to the original dates so they go back in order with the newer episodes.
