  • One worthy

Leistikow and Dochterman are the only guys worthy on this podcast feed. Williams and Hassel would be valuable if they didn’t try to act cool and comical. You guys aren’t funny. You’re huge dorks.

  • Obnoxious free throw noises

Re may 19 Murphy show…. The noises played when opponents shoot free throws and throughout atlanta Dream hone games are beyond obnoxious. I think that’s the norm for a lot of wnba games. I hate it.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Legends & Listeners: What Iowa teams could have made an expanded CFP? McCollum Extension and more
Q: What did you make of Ben McCollum's contract extension?
The hosts agree it was the right move, highlighting McCollum's track record, his rise from smaller programs to a top-tier coaching position, and the belief that he's won over the Iowa fanbase and administration with his leadership and results.
CW Pod: Is the Big 12 Playing a Rigged Game? John Kurtz Breaks It Down
Q: What role do you think media rights and scheduling (like Friday night games) play in shaping the league's visibility and finances?
Scheduling can open margins and reach new TV windows, but it has to be balanced with fan experience and quality matchups; this is where the league can differentiate itself through targeted, high-visibility games.
CW Pod: Is the Big 12 Playing a Rigged Game? John Kurtz Breaks It Down
Q: How do you see the Big 12's long-term health and its ability to compete financially with the SEC and Big Ten?
There's a path through smarter TV deals, selective expansion, and leveraging basketball revenue while maintaining competitive football, but it requires unity and strategic risk-taking rather than hoping for a miracle upgrade in one area.
Two Guys: Iowa's vacated wins, Iowa State's injury woes, Cyclone wrestling's big announcement
Q: Who might oversee Iowa State's new women's wrestling program?
There is speculation that Kevin Dresser could oversee both programs, with Brent Metcalf possibly leading the men's program, though several possibilities are discussed and no definitive hiring is confirmed.
Two Guys: Iowa's vacated wins, Iowa State's injury woes, Cyclone wrestling's big announcement
Q: What is the potential impact of the Banks decision on Iowa's roster and scholarships?
The panel suggests Banks' portal move could force Iowa to open a spot for him or replace him with another transfer, depending on NCAA rulings and how quickly decisions are made, which could determine whether Iowa retains him or finds alternatives.
