I appreciate the research and descriptions into what went on behind the scenes. The Spike bashing is annoying and gratuitous. Can an editor cut every time they say “like?”
I love Angel the series it’s one of my all time favorite shows. Don’t always agree with hosts takes but they are thoughtful and interesting to listen to for sure!
It is obvious they love the show, otherwise why spend the time. I am finally finding a pod that shares my pain for the low lows, and joy in the highs. When this show is on its game, it makes for some of the best stories. Too bad they also balance that out too often. The reviews are almost always spot on for a minimal/no spoiler into the future ones.
This used to be a fun, informative podcast with great research and interesting takes. Now it's just full of insufferable complaining about every episode. Not only is this a fun back and forth that feels both well thought out and researched but also spontaneous, but Sara and Lea are also so much fun to listen to and really let us know how they feel about episodes. With shows like Angel I think the fandom can be pretty intense and that makes some people apprehensive to be truly honest, here they truly celebrate the highs and discuss the lows in a very honest way. I love it.
