I really enjoy this podcast in general. I like their approach and talking about metaphors and themes! I think the balance between the spoiler, free episodes and the spoiler episodes as well done and it’s fun to think about the series in different contexts in that way.
Their overall analysis of the show is heavily skewed. The hosts have made up their minds about characters and storylines which leaves little room for solid discussions. This is particularly notable because all of the hosts have th... more
Really enjoying all your insights and the additional BTS info. I’m actually a big season 7 apologist. Mostly because I enjoy every season of Buffy for its own merits. I’m listening along and also from the beginning since I’ve only recently discovered it. I can’t wait to get to season 5 which is my absolute favourite season…. Thank you for all your work. :-)
Hosted by three sisters who above all love Queen B 👑 and seriously get the show, this podcast is full of love, laughs, and amazing insight into our favourite slayer and her world. 💖 You’ll feel like you’re rewatching the series with your besties. ✨
And if you’re a fan of Angel too, don’t miss Investigating Angel! It has the same awesome vibe—and one of the Becoming Buffy host, Sarah, is on it! 💕
I originally watched Buffy as it aired and decided in January to finally get around to rewatching. I decided to pair the rewatch with a podcast and found y’all. It’s been great getting some deep intel to go along with my rewatch. Can’t wait to hear season 7 as I’m about halfway through watching it.
The bashing ruined the podcast.
They insist that Angel was originally supposed to be turned at 17 (never seen or heard that since). I'm an unreasonable Bangel person, but they give Angel a free pass on everything. While holding Xander (a child) and Spike (a soul less demon) to a high standard. They also referred to William Pratt as an incel, and simply calling a person that without explaining what you see him (the human, not Spike) doing in the episode is not okay.
Sound quality is great. Spoiler section at the end is nothing... more
This podcast is so enjoyable. It is fun and informative. One of my favorite Buffy podcasts. Thanks so much!
I graduated the year before Buffy started. I was one of the few that absolutely loved the movie when it came out and watched it on repeat so I was super excited to have it as a show. Being at a different age than most podcasts on this show I’m used to different and sometimes very wrong takes on characters and the times. And I am always prepared for Xander bashing and Cordelia/Anya apologists. This podcast does all that. But they also have insightful conversations and deep dives into behind the s... more
I’m surprised I haven’t left a review sooner, but I’m glad cause I’ve been through to s6 so that leaves room for a good gauge on experience with it.
Sarah is the most insightful person and you know she spends so much time informing herself to share with the audience & her sisters. As a music buff and student most of life, I love hearing her takes when they happen on how the music sets the tone in the show.
Hearing the sisters dynamic is one of the best elements cause they have fun together dis... more

I’ve been listening for a while now, this is definitely one of my fave Buffy podcasts.
Having said that, I really miss the spoiler section, and I’m getting really tired of hearing about new ones that I can’t and won’t listen to because I refuse to spend money on a free service.
Bring back the free spoiler section!
Sarah, tabby and Leah have it all together and when I say ALL TOGETHER. That’s exactly what I mean! The amount of research that they put into this blows my mind every single time! They always have the most sound takes and are absolutely funny! You can tell these three sisters really enjoy the show and it feels as though I’m bonding over Buffy facts with friends! It’s a must listen!
I like the ‘ride or die’ vibes they have for Buffy, but if you are looking for anything beyond Buffy/Angel are perfect for each other you’ve come to the wrong place. They also wrongly say multiple times how old Angel was when he was turned into a vampire, completely missing the point/metaphors Angel’s age is supposed to represent. Other character analysis is good except it’s obvious they hold contempt for certain characters because of their ship, so very bias.
Toxic awful podcast catering to an awful toxic base, don’t even understand the show, what a joke
