Maybe you just don’t realize it, but you get very condescending with how correct you think your character and plot analysis are. It’s become so off putting, even agreeing with some of it. I’m not a spuffy, nor a bangel, but I have to say you have some huge rose coloured glasses when it comes to Angel and what seems like an intense hatred of Spike. Which is fine. My issue is that you express your “concern” and how “scary” it is when someone doesn’t have the “media comprehension” to agree with you... more
NOTHING!! Listening to this podcast feels like sitting down with smart, hilarious friends who truly understand Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This is my third Buffy podcast, and the research, analysis, and funny banter make me love this show even more.
As of May 2026 I’m on Season 3 Episode 9, and revisiting the series this way has been such a great experience. I’m actually Buffy’s age and graduated in 1999 just like she did, so watching the show again brings back so many memories. I originally watc... more
I really enjoy this podcast in general. I like their approach and talking about metaphors and themes! I think the balance between the spoiler, free episodes and the spoiler episodes as well done and it’s fun to think about the series in different contexts in that way.
Their overall analysis of the show is heavily skewed. The hosts have made up their minds about characters and storylines which leaves little room for solid discussions. This is particularly notable because all of the hosts have th... more
Really enjoying all your insights and the additional BTS info. I’m actually a big season 7 apologist. Mostly because I enjoy every season of Buffy for its own merits. I’m listening along and also from the beginning since I’ve only recently discovered it. I can’t wait to get to season 5 which is my absolute favourite season…. Thank you for all your work. :-)

A trio of sisters dives into Buffy with both spoiler-free and spoiler-filled analyses, blending close readings of episodes with personal anecdotes and behind-the-scenes trivia. The show routinely covers themes, metaphors, and symbolism in the series, offering thoughtful, well-researched takes alongside lighthearted banter and fan affection. Noteworthy is the balance between accessibility for new watchers and in-depth commentary for longtime fans, with long runtimes and a consistent emphasis on meaningful conversations over mere recap.
