Everything you could ever want in a podcast and much more. Super intelligent, incredibly informative, yet enjoyable. And because it is so enjoyable, because the chemistry between the three gentlemen works so very well, the listener actually learns. Learns a lot. This podcast stood (and stands!) head and shoulders above anything else dealing with the history of TV. Nothing before, nothing during, and nothing since the end of this podcast comes anywhere close to the excellence of Inside The Box.
I am sending this out the day I found out they are no longer going to update the podcast. With TVs rich history and importance to people’s lives, this has become a must listen. Getting ready to list to the history of Netflix today. Early history of TV has been their specialty. Thanks
I woke up on Saturday with an overwhelming urge to get schooled in television history. I spent much of the day sifting through piles of internet garbage, interspersed with a few good essays and vlogs, but I'm a podcast girl. This one hit the spot. Academic enough to treat the material seriously and elevate the inherently fun material above nostalgia and top ten lists, while maintaining accessibility and the joy of nerding. Good work, fellas!
