Roster retention put Illinois in position to be considered one of the top teams in the country heading into the 2026-27 season. But there are still roles to fill in the rotation, including a rather notable Keaton Wagler-sized hole. Figuring out a fam... more

This show would be much better if Rossow wasn’t so annoying with his weird humor. Let Scott do his job and give the audience the Illini hoops talk we want. Shut your stupid mouth Jim!
And funny!!!
I absolutely love Illinois athletics and will try to absorb as much content as possible no matter the source. I’ve tried listening a few times but even after big wins/news it’s hard to be excited with their lack of energy.
I quickly lose interest in their soft spoken tone. Their content is awesome and they do a good job organizing but it’s very difficult to want to keep listening if there’s not going to be a lot of energy.

Some good Illini coverage If you can put up with Jim Rossow‘s constant annoying sarcasm. Not sure why Scott Rickey doesn’t just punch his lights out.
Scott Richey is the goods - he's a great Illini basketball beat writer, in a long line of talent (Dawson, Klee, etc). Jim succeeds at adding some humor. A good albeit short show.
