Eliana Johnson and Chris Stirewalt love the news business but they hate a lot of what’s happening to it these days. Using their decades of experience in print, digital and TV news they tell the story behind the stories, always on the lookout for bias, sloppy reporting and, well, just plain wretched journalism. Every week they help you to be a better, smarter news consumer.

The show is so much stronger when Chris is absent. A series of revolving guest hosts would be preferable at this point. The two E-Jays segments on Megyn’s show is good. Anything but Chris.
Nothing but love for Eliana & Chris. They’re the best. Always interesting, funny, respectful, diverse in topic & timely. I’d pay good $ to get two pods a week. It’s so hard to wait for Friday
Thanks to Chris for pointing out the importance of “May I please” whether requesting a meal from a server or spouse!

Let Eliana talk more (I follow the pod just to hear her - she is so balanced and down to earth), please. Chris, you can be great but have been hanging out with the Dispatch crowd too much - not looking for blanket endorsements of Trump administration actions, there is plenty to criticize, but a lot of your commentary sounds snarky and biased against the MAGA folks.
I personally like Chris Stierwalt but he’s blowing it for a while.
You don’t have to like Trump. You don’t even have to be objective about Trump at this point. Give him both barrels if you wish.
But keep it on policy.
Never passing up an opportunity to intimate or allude that his voters, supporters or staff are racists, bigots or rubes has gone on too long.
Many of us came for objective analysis and insider perspectives. And we left after constantly getting poked in the eye.
