Matt continues to survey the current and historical field of wine with a particular zeal. There is always candid conversations with new producers alongside long form deep dives into “Old California” that provide so much more than the histrionic overview we are often presented with. This is a real folk historian and the diligence of his work deserves real praise!
I loved the episode on the Blind Boss of San Francisco and Lord of Livermore. Great behind-the-scenes stories on California wine.
