Started listening to in the shift this morning with a feverish toddler, then hours later came to when I was listening again, and realised I was making myself a toastie. What black magic is this?
So good to have a podcast specific to the experience of growing up Christian in Aotearoa. My deconstruction process has been the loneliest journey of my life, and this podcast has helped me to unpack some really painful experiences and make sense of the ways I respond to people. The hosts are very thoughtful and witty, lending humour to otherwise grim and heavy topics.
This is worth listening to. Even though my experiences don’t mirror the hosts, the honest summing up and reflection of lives lessons are very helpful and do help me see my own life more clearly.
Really enjoying my personal journey and growth, having questions answered or being asked.
I have been deconstructing faith for years, but I find new insights in these podcasts that are helpful for ongoing healing.
Topics are handled sensitively and respectfully. Love your work Mike and team, thank you!
