Benicio del Toro
Q: How do you handle moments when you feel the need to take a bigger swing with a line or a delivery?
He discusses that directors' encouragement can validate bold choices, and the decision to swing often serves the story by creating a memorable moment or revealing a character's truth, even if it feels risky in the moment.
Benicio del Toro
Q: What does it mean when you say that Paul Stiller's camera follows the actor, and Wes Anderson's camera follows the camera in terms of how you approach your job?
Del Toro explains that with Paul Thomas Anderson, actors may have more physical freedom because the camera follows them, while with Wes Anderson, the camera is the guide and the actor adapts to a more fixed, precise frame, requiring different ways of revealing truth through performance.
Ariana Grande
Q: Can you talk about the take you did that you did it, they said we got it, and then there was no more after that?
Ariana discussed her final shot as Glinda, which was a quick moment looking for Elphaba among the flying monkeys.
Michael B. Jordan
Q: Is it true that you co-piloted a P-51 jet before Red Tails?
Michael confirms that he did pilot a P-51 jet and discusses how seriously they approached their roles as Tuskegee Airmen.
Michael B. Jordan
Q: How do you find that balance of offering yourself to your fans while still maintaining the mystery that movie stardom requires?
Michael shares that he tries to expose himself more during promotional periods but keeps a part of himself private when not in the public eye.
