Ive listened to 5/6 episodes of this podcast so far and all they offer are personal rebuttals and anecdotes for whatever tangent they're on. They go off topic constantly which makes you forget that they're trying to debunk a documentary. Sad to see something as biassed and unscientific from two people who are professionals in their field.
I enjoy the banter, but at some point you have got to present some information. I’m only on the first episode so I’m hoping it gets better.
Unfortunately there is no substance to the episodes in this podcast. They are critical of whatever they talk about just for the sake of being critical. They do not strive to present an unbiased review of the science behind the topic. I checked out this podcast because of a recommendation from The NY Times- I can’t believe it got recommended there. Don’t waste your time, there are other podcasts out there that represent the science in a clear unbiased way.
So real so honest!! I am so happy to have found this podcast especially at the start of my non-dieting journey!! Love everything about this podcast but most of all, the humor 🥰
While I agree with and appreciate what this podcast is trying to achieve, unfortunately the superior tone taken by the hosts is really untidy and off-putting. My feedback would be to keep to the facts, explain them with compassion for the listener who may be overwhelmed with all the misinformation out there, and leave the scoffing and laughing to your private conversations.
