I really would love this cast but there are just too many ads! They will start in the middle of a sentence and about 3 times louder… I wish Burke would realise the effect they have 😔
I have found myself balling my eyes out, so many beautiful but sometimes difficult listens, it has helped me in my own journey, thank you.
LOVE the podcast but have a hard time with the gambling ads- about twenty per episode- hard to recommend to a friend and hard to listen to- very obnoxious. Does not seem like the values you’d want to promote. Feels like a sellout. Hope you can come up with a better solution so I can share your podcast with friends. I’m a huge fan of the books and live the podcast!
Inexcusable, but John Burke, how?
What a wonderful find! Fascinating subject, brilliantly hosted by John Burke. Burke is a former atheist engineer who got into the subject of near death experiences by accident. His methodical study and excellent oration make this podcast a slam dunk. The subject is gaining traction even within science. Some of the cases cannot simply be written off as some brain chemical reaction. One of the most fascinating subjects out there.

A thought-provoking faith-focused show that centers on near-death experiences (NDEs) and their alignment with biblical heaven. Across episodes, listeners hear personal NDE testimonies—from opulent heavenly realms to life reviews—paired with scriptural discussion, theological reflection, and practical faith applications. The host commonly guides conversations with an emphasis on how experiences relate to God, Jesus, and salvation, often weaving in apologetics, spiritual discernment, and community-tested wisdom. The format tends to attract listeners who seek meaning, hope, and evidence for life after death while preferring a Christian framework. A notable strength is the blend of firsthand NDE accounts with scripture, which can be compelling ... more
