Pax reminds listeners that new episodes of the show are showing up on the Cult Film Club feed. And he gives you a preview of next week's episode, Batman & Robin (1997) by Michael Jan Friedman.
In this transitional episode before IRM's debut on the Cult Film Club feed, I go over the novelization to the fourth Christopher Reeve Superman movie.
For the final episode of IRM on this feed before it moves over to Cult Film Club, I'm closing the loop on my coverage of the Skywalker Saga novelizations with Star Wars the Force Awakens by the original Star Wars novelizer, Alan Dean Foster.
This month I'm talking about the novelizations of Stephen Sommers' 1999 adventure blockbuster The Mummy starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz.

I’ve always enjoyed novelizations of films so this is a pleasant discovery.
I heard this get praised on the Missing Frames film podcast so I thought I’d check it out and very glad I did, I think the Rambo sequels written by original author David Morrell would be a good pick.
I just found this podcast yesterday and already love it. I’m a big fan of movie and TV tie-in novels so this podcast is right up my alley. I look forward to catching up on all the past episodes and look forward to new ones.
Pax does an awesome job explaining each novel and the differences between the movie.
I love this show. Paxton Holley of Nerd Lunch fame has always been a fan of movie novelizations. Now he has this show to tell us the differences between the movie and the novelization so we don't have to read it ourselves. He saves me from reading what can be so-so books to find the little extra nuggets that were cut out of the film. Pax could be considered a national treasure for movie and pop culture nuts.
