  • Great content, work on production

I enjoy the interviews and guests a lot. The format of the podcast and production need some work. It would be great if guests were introduced so that we know who we are listening to and what they’re known for (especially for non-Simpsons voice actors). There are also weird cuts to commercial mid-sentence that need to get cleaned up to move this from 3-star to 5-star.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Chris Prynoski: Beavis and Butt-Head, Titmouse, Vox Machina & Building an Animation Empire
Q: What was the most surprising factor in discovering that a creator-driven approach could thrive in Hollywood, especially with pitches over Zoom?
The key was the creator's spark and presentation; a Yahoo-like zoom pitch by a YouTube personality who treated the pitch as a performance—framing shots, sound, and energy—made the idea compelling beyond the script, helping secure a deal.
Chris Prynoski: Beavis and Butt-Head, Titmouse, Vox Machina & Building an Animation Empire
Q: What inspired you to take the leap and start Titmouse instead of building your career at a big animation studio?
It happened more by circumstance than a single decision: moving from a stalled New York project to California during the early internet cartoon boom, launching a t-shirt business that eventually became a production pipeline, and having Shannon push him to formalize a studio as a viable path to scale.
Patrick Renna: The Sandlot, Savannah Bananas, Social Media & “You’re Killing Me, Smalls!”
Q: What childhood animated movie do you hold near and dear?
Renna shares Land Before Time as a cherished film from childhood, noting its emotional resonance and its place in family viewing with his kids.
Patrick Renna: The Sandlot, Savannah Bananas, Social Media & “You’re Killing Me, Smalls!”
Q: Where do you see yourself in five years?
Renna envisions continuing to develop content with Hambino Media, expanding film and TV projects, and balancing family life while pursuing passion projects in entertainment.
Patrick Renna: The Sandlot, Savannah Bananas, Social Media & “You’re Killing Me, Smalls!”
Q: What is your current day-to-day like and what are you most passionate about right now?
Renna discusses producing and running Hambino Media, developing TV shows and movies, directing, and doing brand-friendly productions for social media while staying involved in acting.
