  • Please fix the audio

Amazing podcast but loses stars due to an atrociously bad audio mix. The show is so quiet and the ads are twice as loud. Please do the fans a solid and fix.

  • Great podcast, quiet audio mixing

Love love love the podcast. Thanks to Nancy and others for making it happen! Unfortunately the interview audio is rather quiet overall even when volume is maximized on my devices. Issue seems consistent irregardless of device. Makes it especially difficult to listen in my car or while working.

  • Please increase audio!

I love the podcast and have been a life-long Simpsons fan. But it sounds like it’s coming out at half the volume of my other podcasts. I have to turn the sound up all the way on my player!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Fat Tony and Bart have a friendly little chat
Q: Did you have direction from Matt Groening and the writers on how Fat Tony should sound?
There was trust and comfort with the material; I embraced the character and found a voice that felt true to him, sometimes drawing from personal inspirations without external nudges that would derail the vibe.
Fat Tony and Bart have a friendly little chat
Q: What were you hoping to achieve with Fat Tony when you first started voicing him?
I wanted to differentiate him from Joey Zaza, bring in a unique flavor, and keep Fat Tony recognizable yet distinct enough to stand on his own within the show.
Chit and Bart Answer Fan Questions
Q: What has been your most favorite Simpsons premiere party?
It was probably the first party held at Universal, where everything was new and I could bring a lot of friends to enjoy the experience.
Chit and Bart Answer Fan Questions
Q: Do you slip into Bart's voice while trying to have a normal conversation?
I don't, but others say I do, and the sound of Bart is the easiest for me to do.
Chit and Bart Answer Fan Questions
Q: Who or what idea is Chit based on?
Chit is based on an amalgamation of different characters that grew out of my improv and sketch theater training at the Groundlings, not on a single individual.
