This podcast effortlessly captures the beauty, pain, and connection of humanity. Dr. Band thoughtfully supports each family as they deepen their relationships and navigate diverse experiences. Podcasts like this help emerging adults feel more connected, seen, and heard; a critical element that promotes overall well-being. I would absolutely love a second season!
Touching conversations that get to the heart of young people’s fears and anxieties. Gripping, fly on the wall approach.
I don’t care what your views are on abortion. Do not push “Defenders” on people looking for your otherwise helpful information on emotional issues.
Don’t make everything political.
These episodes are wonderful. Dr. Monica Band’s approach to calmly address complex cases has me in awe. The difficult conversations presented by “I need to ask you something” are captivating and thought provoking. I will continue to listen and hope there are more episodes to come!
I like the concept of this podcast and have high hopes but this 1st episode really upsets me. The mom didn't hit her daughter with her car but her actions were pretty disgusting and the results were devastating. She's the adult and her daughter carries all the guilt while her mom seems to not be accountable for anything. Why wasn't this therapist having her apologize to her daughter for a number of things!?! Really sickening . I hope future episodes aren't so one sided
