  • Wow!!

I thought I was coming to a podcast for motivation and encouragement, as I am still a bit fearful in my endeavor. After listening to 2 full episodes I wanted to tear up my business plans and never think about pursing my goals ... EVER! Thank goodness I still have optimism and a strong desire to keep working to make my nonprofit successful. But this podcast right here ... Issa no for me. Thanks anyway!

E45 Reimagining Nonprofit Impact
Q: What are the dynamics that are going on?
We have to get here is essential. What are the power players that are creating these guardrails that we think we have to fit into?
E45 Reimagining Nonprofit Impact
Q: Can you give us a success story of an organization that got themselves out of this?
The United States Swim School Association created learning modules to help onboard staff, which they sold instantly, validating their understanding of member needs.
E45 Reimagining Nonprofit Impact
Q: What is the thing that you want nonprofits to do after reading this book?
I really just want them to get started at the very beginning, not to look at the whole thing and feel overwhelmed but to take that first step.
E45 Reimagining Nonprofit Impact
Q: Could I read the book and influence what happens, even though I have all of this other stuff going on?
Getting focused will never hurt your work. Getting stakeholder-centered is important, and identifying what you don't know shifts the energy and conversation to action.
E45 Reimagining Nonprofit Impact
Q: What brought you to give away everything in your head?
I wrote the book partially in response to that, to all those other people asking those same questions in their minds saying, you are not alone at all.
