  • Good content that is good for your soul

I was introduced to Jessica through a YouTube LAD Bible interview with her about her experience as a kidnapped person. I then found this podcast. Love it! The people she interviews are survivors with a lot to teach and share.

Prison to Purpose with Martin Lockett
Q: So, my first question is, what would you say to someone who has survived the trauma? They've survived the impact and they're standing on top of the rubble of their life and they're thinking, okay, what next?
Encourage them to look toward a greater purpose, whether that means sharing their story, volunteering, or mentoring others. Start small if needed, but purpose should be pursued vigorously, even if it feels daunting, because meaning can help sustain healing and prevent relapse into old patterns.
