I like the content, but I can’t bear the unnatural way the host speaks. In addition, her voice pitch is too high. It’s very much like a pre-school teacher speaking to her young students. Not good. Just can’t do it.
This is my new favorite podcast. House Rules episode 4 inspired me to put a lamp in my laundry room. Episode 6 gave me the courage to hang wallpaper all by myself above the laundry room counter. It’s a whole new room! I love how practical each episode is and I can’t wait for the book.
Myquilyn is a genius … she’s very personable and gives practical and applicable ideas and principles for making your home look and feel amazing … pure gold
I love her approach but the show can feel a lot like advertisements for what she wants you to subscribe to or buy with very little actual contribution to your knowledge about how to design a home. Wish there was more useful content, and a little less hinting at content available through a subscription or purchase.
I love this show —it’s a shot in the arm of pure encouragement to get inspired about decorating.
