  • Yikes

I just made my first foray into this podcast via the Eysia and John episode about the 8th episode of season 2 House of the Dragon. It immediately seemed like I was eavesdropping on a really awkward first date. I wouldn’t say it was a dialogue, in as much as two individuals with zero chemistry saying things to occupy time, both hoping it would be over soon. I couldn’t finish it.

House of the Dragon - S01E07-08 - Driftmark & The Lord of the Tides
Q: What did you think of these episodes, David?
I think episode seven is probably one of the best episodes of television that I've ever watched, it develops tension and animosity beautifully.
Hot Lore Summer - 2024 Coverage Plans
Q: Do you need to watch Gen V to fully enjoy this season?
From what they've said, it doesn't seem like you absolutely have to, but it would be very helpful, especially with some character developments.

Q: Can you tell us a little bit about what The Boys is about if people haven't watched it before?
It's basically what superheroes would be like in real life. They are just horrible, horrible people, and it's fun to watch. It's a satire of the superhero genre.
House of the Dragon - S02E06 - Smallfolk
Q: Did the ending of the episode satisfy you?
While I wanted to see a direct confrontation with the new dragon rider, the cliffhanger felt frustrating because it left so many questions about the character interactions unresolved.
House of the Dragon - S02E06 - Smallfolk
Q: What did you think about the episode's pacing?
The pacing felt off in some areas, with certain scenes dragging while others rushed. It seems like a mix of fast-moving and slow-paced storytelling for this season.
