  • Nina

I belong to the club that Nina Campbell refers to at the end of the August 15 and I have never heard so much rot in all my life. I don’t imagine anyone in Australia would employ her after hearing what she said (talk about biting the hand that feeds it) but the irony of that pretentious old trout calling its members ‘like something from the 1950s’ in entirely fictitious ‘hats and gloves’ was absurd.

  • Disappointing

Listened to one podcast and the microphone was terrible. Also didn’t really discuss interiors only the personal life of the personal interviewed. Didn’t have any take aways which was a shame.

  • Love it

I love Carol’s interviews, she is very natural with her well choosen guests. Always relevant and interesting. Also, I’m so pleased the audio quality is much better now, not sure what you’ve done, but I’m grateful, there were a few episodes which were really uncomfortable to listen to.

  • Enjoyable, but ..,

Really enjoyable. Carole is a great interviewer and the guests are some of the best. However the audio quality is very poor. Can this be fixed?

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hattie Hansard On How Interior Designers Transform The Temporary Spaces At Henley, Ascot & Wimbledon
Q: How do you approach designing a temporary space that must work for a large, diverse group of guests?
We start with ergonomics and sightlines, plan for how people will circulate, eat, and mingle, and then layer in art, textiles, and lighting that won't overwhelm the space but still feel special.
How Romanos Brihi & Venetia Rudebeck Of Studio Vero Combine Work And Friendship
Q: How do you approach a new client from the first meeting?
We begin with an in-depth design consultation to understand lifestyle, storage, entertaining needs, and aesthetic aspirations, followed by concept presentations that incorporate client imagery and ongoing conversations while we source.
How Romanos Brihi & Venetia Rudebeck Of Studio Vero Combine Work And Friendship
Q: What is the balance between bespoke pieces and antiques in your designs?
We typically use a strong mix, with more than half of our work involving custom pieces, complemented by carefully selected antiques and vintage finds to create a layered, personal atmosphere.
How Romanos Brihi & Venetia Rudebeck Of Studio Vero Combine Work And Friendship
Q: How did Studio Vero come together as a studio?
We describe it as a natural collaboration that grew from years of friendship and shared taste; the business formed when we joined forces on client projects and realized our combined strengths complemented each other well.
How Ewan Frost-Pennington Is Turning His 800-Year-Old Home Into A Carbon Neutral Property
Q: Can you explain the role of grants in enabling this transition?
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme provided an upfront grant (7.5k pounds) that reduces upfront cost and makes installing a heat pump financially comparable to replacing a gas boiler, which helped secure buy-in from the estate's leadership.
