Really fascinating and detailed. Like a le Carre or Graham Greene novel. Except it’s all true and real and not fictional. Brilliant.
The type of documentary that includes the journalist asking “where should we sit?” Agonizingly slow and dragged out, yet a fascinating story beneath it all. Worth listening to, but barely.
The third series was riveting from start to finish. These folks are great story tellers and investigative journalists who sunk their teeth into a really interesting story. But all the way along there was a sense of raw fascination and unexpected twists that took the listener along and gave us a sense of what the experience must have been like for the journalists, too. Please make more like this. I’m hooked.
Some penetrating journalism really well presented. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
