  • Really wanted to love it

When these ladies said they can’t enjoy movies without criticizing them, I was out. They loved Slumber Party Massacre, which is fine. But hated Phenomenon. Almost no criticism of Slumber but Phenomenon they had issues with every single detail. Hypocrisy. You don’t have to like a film but don’t pretend you are seriously critiquing something when you have different expectations for different movies.

I came across this podcast just after its initial release and I really appreciate the in depth scene by scene breakdowns and friendly banter and kind voices these lovely ladies have.

  • Favorite New Podcast

Nicole Trawick. I’ve listened to both Tammy and Jessica on The Horrorcast. Some of my favorite episodes are the Herrorcast ones…where it’s just the girls. So when I heard they were starting another podcast, just them, I knew I had to listen. And I haven’t been disappointed. They have brought some unique movies to the forefront, some movies I’ve never heard reviewed before. They do it with such passion, insight, and humor. They are always such a joy to listen to.

  • Made me excited to watch classic horror!

This is an absolutely wonderful show with amazing hosts! I love their dynamic and how well they play off of each other. I also love how we get something different each episode. I’ve been excited to watch older horror movies, so I can never miss an episode! I also love how they review horror related books as well! Thank you guys for an amazing show!

  • Great show!

Tammy and Jessica have great chemistry. They both bring different cultural perspectives to the show because of their age difference that makes it more interesting. I like that they talk about books, and TV shows as well as movies. Because of the format the conversations feel natural and they never seem like they are in a rush. As an expert on Italian horror I am glad they have selected some of those movies to review. PHENOMENA is one of my all time favorite films. Tammy brought something up in a... more
