I normally really love you guys, and I will still keep listening, BUT three things really upset me in this latest episode.
Firstly, I think Katy telling your mom she has short stubby legs was so unnecessary. And I’m only a few years older than you so I’m not somebody really Old who’s making this comment, I would never say something like that to my mother on air or ever. Meanwhile, she does nothing but praise you.

I have been meaning to write this for about a month. I was listening to your podcast and I was having a very, very, very bad day where I couldn’t stop crying, I was driving and crying… the story of your mother lugging her suitcase in the rain on her trip and the bad hotel room, I laughed so hard and it helped snap me out of what I was crying over, it temporarily fixed my problem and I appreciate it.
Have been binging the whole catalogue and just adore listening to you both! Perfect comfort podcast, with equal parts laughter and life advice—both mom and daughter have such valuable perspectives to share, and it’s just so fun to hear the genuine love and friendship you two have together!
My only small thing is I wish Katy would ease up a little on poking fun at Carol about words/phrases she uses, or how she pronounces things. Of course there’ll be some playful banter but feels like it just ha... more
