I wish I had a podcast like this when I began deconstructing my faith and first realized I was queer. I love hearing all the stories of survival and healing from different guests, and how they found their way to community and authenticity.
So glad this podcast exists!
I love the focus on just listening to people just like me and hearing differently people bravely left what was hurting them or reclaimed what they loved about their experience growing up in the church.
I will say I think my favorite is listening to the chemistry between Elise and Kari and their clear love and joy with each other. Keep it up!
Holy Homo Healing Hour is captivating, thoughtful, and genuinely healing. The host asks insightful questions that create space to rethink faith, identity, and sexuality without pressure or judgment. It’s educational, engaging, and perfect for anyone curious about unlearning old beliefs and reconnecting with their most authentic self. Highly recommend!
This is a beautiful show that brings hope to a truly sketchy time. I am grateful for everyone involved in making it. As someone who is also recovering from christianity, i love hearing other people overcome or reimagine the mythology to an empowering story. Holding on the bright parts of faith while releasing the negative is a really powerful move. Lucifer bless the LGBTQIA+
