  • To woke so soon.

Made it one minute and 15 seconds into Kerry Washington’s wokeness and I was done.

That industry & town has been very much exposed as sleazy, rapey, misogynist, racist, soul crushing, treat people like garbage industries there is and the first thing this podcast does is preach wokeness. I’m done.

  • Where’s the diversity in this panel?

This podcast supposedly focuses on bringing diversity into Hollywood, yet the first three guests are all African-American, followed by some Caucasians and Latinx. But where are the Asian voices? Asians are the largest population on the planet (60% total) with India snd China together comprising 36% of global population, yet seem to always get short-shrift when it comes to inclusion regarding diversity in the States. So strange.

  • Needs to Introduce Different Topics of injustice

While this podcast brings up some really important points and has some pretty high profile interviews, I was disappointed as it does feel like it’s interviewing people about more or less about the same talking points of inequality, rather than the systemic inequalities of the business as a whole. Yes, absolutely Hollywood’s historic racial and gender inequalities are of upmost importance to be addressed. But only addressing these issues will scratch the surface of what is intrinsically wrong wit... more
