Only listened to one episode but loved it!
my kitten has been on raw since I brought her home and she loves it. Her coat is so shiny like rabbit fur so soft !! When she was on canned her poop stunk sooo bad. Now I don’t smell her poop at all on raw ! vets will argue the raw but unfortunately they are fed a narrative in school and that becomes a belief. the pet food sold at standard vets offices are full of fillers and crap. it’s no wonder there is a health crisis in the area of animals as well.... more
Raw is best as it’s natural. It’s how they ate for hundreds of years. These kibble companies pay for the “research” whereas the raw companies don’t need to because the results present themselves. You see the difference. Period
Thank you for your valuable advice you are truly passionate and wanting to help all of us trying our best to keep our pets happy and well I sometimes get a little lost with the raw and need a gentle reminder to be mindful of what
I’m feeding (mainly too much) your tips are great one of my girls is no good with chicken and most poultry I feed mostly rabbit goat fish venison and small amount of beef and lamb tripe. It can be expensive I’m in U.K. and my two girls are 15 and 12 yrs only transitio... more
Let me guess the vet who left a review took her ‘nutrition’ courses from Purina or some other gross pet food company. She says corn is actually good for dogs - well she likely doesn’t believe most crops are GMO either. Come on vets get with it! You are the only healthcare profession still recommending highly processed fast food diets! Amanda keep up the amazing work you’re doing spreading info about holistic alternatives!!!!
I got about 15 minutes into the episode about raw feeding and had to stop listening because of the sheer amount of misinformation being presented. As someone who has worked in veterinary medicine for 12 years and who has taken nutrition courses, there is nothing wrong with corn (which is actually a great source of antioxidants and EFA’s), or grains (unless they have an allergy to it, and the majority of food related allergies in pets are actually due to the protein source), or cellulose (which i... more
Soooo happy I found this podcast via social media! Amanda and Dawson present the facts about raw feeding, plus tons of extra information in short bursts that are easy to understand. An absolute wealth of knowledge. Fantastic way to introduce friends and clients to raw feeding.
I really enjoy this show! iTunes recommended this for me because of my subscription to Dr. Karen Becker’s podcast. Amanda has great information that she prepares for each show and I learn something from each episode. If you want to feel like an empowered pet owner, listen to this show.
