Once again we must discuss where Regina Hall's Oscars got lost. This fun 2014 romp makes LA look like an attractive city and turns us into Kevin Hart Stans. Digressions include pre-release thoughts on The Tortured Poets Department and post-release th... more
This week we discuss the "Jack Nicholson Dates A Woman His Own Age or I Guess 8 Years Younger" classic "Something's Gotta Give." As with every great Nancy Meyers movie, there's discussions of great kitchens, beige clothing, and the JLO movie and docu... more

Love this podcast, thanks for the hard work of putting these out. Surprised that more people aren’t listening to this. Hope you both keep going!
I’m so glad I’ve just discovered this podcast because now I can binge all of the episodes at once. Fully disagree on your opinions on Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, though. That law dinner scene is the best scene in all of movie history.
I love their chemistry and insights. I’m a huge romcom fan, but as a feminist screenwriter it can be a challenge sometimes to appreciate classic (and modern) movies that just don’t… hold up. The two hosts do a fantastic job of breaking things down in a way that is both entertaining and educational and it makes me want to be friends with them!
They have a great chemistry and they talk about a lot of my favorite movies.
I love this podcast. The hosts are smart, funny, and insightful. I like the way they dissect the movies of my youth (and adulthood) with a critical eye, but they also give my favorite rom-coms the love they deserve. I also appreciate the diversity of their movie choices.
