  • Charming and fun

I recently had the urge to learn all of history from the beginning of pre-history, how cool to find a podcast that does exactly that! Chris seems like a normal dude who just likes history like the rest of us, which is quite refreshing in the era of super produced podcasts with 5 ad breaks. Keep it up!

His soothing voice and untold hours of work have kept me company through river crossings and over mountain passes this year. I am so grateful….I’ve listened to every episode now and can... more

  • Best Podcast in the History of the World

This is by far the most enjoyable and informative podcast I have ever listened to. I recommend scrolling back to the first episode and taking them in order. I am almost done with Volume II. I started listening end of August 2025. What I have learned from this podcast has added context and depth to the challenges of modern life. It gives me a sense of hope to learn where humanity has been and what we have done across the world and time. I especially love the worldwide focus of the podcast. I also... more
